Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! I wish I could eat a lot but I am not always hungry early in the morning. But I always have room for these beauties. These granola bars are so simple, light, beautiful yet satisfying. They are perfect for on-the-go or a quick snack!
Ingredients:
8 dates
1/4 cup oats (gluten-free)
1/4 cup puffed rice/rice cereal
1 tbsp almond or any nut butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
pinch of salt
*optional: dried blueberries and raspberries
How to make:
Soak the dates in hot water for a couple minutes. Take out the dates and blend them in a mixer. Combine all the other ingredients in a separate bowl then add in the blended dates. Mix everything together and place them in any mold you like. Put them in the freezer overnight and then enjoy!
Optional: you can drizzle the nut butter you used on top and add additional dried berries!
